Three Years working in a Sydney Production Company as runner, offline video editor,sound recordist and camera assistant .

Twenty five years working freelance in the film industry initially in Sydney as camera assistant then as a cinematographer in London for 12 years shooting music videos ,commercials , television and feature documentaries. I then moved to Los Angeles for 12 years shooting mainly TV commercials.

Since returning to Australia I’ve been focusing more on making work that resonates with me personally outside of the commercial market.

This has led me to a traditional analogue work flow with portraiture and both silver gelatin & alternative printing processes to slow down my practice as a counter to the ever accelerating digital world. I choose a more thoughtful approach via a hand made and bespoke process and setting up a space in Regional NSW near my Crescent Head home.
